Our examination includes:

  • Review of medical and dental health history

  • Blood pressure check

  • Oral cancer screening

  • Examination of TMJ, head and neck, and occlusal analysis

  • Tooth-by-tooth charting to identify and record the current condition of your teeth

  • Dental caries (cavities) screening

  • Periodontal screening (for gum disease)

  • X-Rays if needed

After all the information is gathered, Dr. Zambrowski will present any needed procedures to address your dental health and discuss all alternatives and/or options. You will be presented with an estimate of all the cost for any required treatment. You will have a chance to ask any questions that you may have and together we will plan a course of treatment that works for you.

Emergency Treatment

If you have a dental emergency during a weekday, we will make every effort to see you that day with minimal impact on our scheduled patients to alleviate your discomfort. After hours treatment can only be provided to patients of record. We cannot call in prescription for patients who have not been examined. Please call the local hospital emergency room to obtain after hours prescriptions.

Insurance and Payment:

Payment is expected at the time of service unless other financial arrangements have been made in advance. We have many patients with insurance. If you have insurance, we expect your co-payment, and any deductible at time of service. To avoid misunderstanding regarding dental insurance, we wish our patients to know that all professional services rendered are charged directly to the patient and that patients are responsible for payment of fees. We treat all of patients the same; we do not distinguish between full-paying and managed care patients. We will gladly process your insurance form to help you obtain your maximum benefits. Please realize that your insurance contract is a legal contract between your insurance company, your employer, and you. We do not render our services on the basis that insurance companies will pay all our fees. We do accept full or partial payment from your insurance company with any balance being your responsibility. Even PPO insurance plans offer "out of network" payments that can be used to help pay for our services. However, we believe that all our patients deserve the best dental care available and  we are passionate in our mission to perform work for our patients and not for the insurance companies. Therefore, we refuse to sign a contract with any Managed Care Insurance Company (PPO). In Dr. Robert Zambrowski's opinion, to become an "in network provider" I would have to sacrifice quality, service, and attention.

We are dedicated to saving our patients money by only providing services that are needed or desired, and by providing exceptional dental care.

For the convenience of our patients, we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. To help make treatment more affordable, we offer third party financing through CareCredit.

Appointments:

If you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact our office at 910-270-4435.

Cancellations:

If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 48 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.

Infection Control:

Everyone benefits from rigorous infection control — you, your dentist, and the dental team.

Our entire team follows procedures recommended by: the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the American Dental Association (ADA). These measures include:

  • Disinfectant hand soap

  • Gloves and face masks

  • Chemical disinfection of countertops and surfaces

  • Sterilization of all equipment before every use

  • Disposable materials

We sterilize all reusable equipment. We use an autoclave, a device that kills bacteria and viruses by steam, heat and pressure.
